Getting the My Clients & Profits! X web server running is quick and reasonably easy. First, you'll need to have a dedicated Windows or Macintosh computer that has both a full-time, high-speed connection to both the Clients & Profits database and to the internet.
This 5-minute guided tour illustrates how a web adminstrator would set up, start, and monitor the My Clients & Profits! X web server.
Once the My Clients & Profits! X software is installed, starting up the server involves these steps:
1) Launch the My Clients & Profits! X web server application.
2) Open your Clients & Profits database.
3) Set the web server's preferences.
4) Add your shop's web users then assign them My Clients & Profits! access privileges.
5) Start the My Clients & Profits! web server.
