We use the Reubel survey to get a range of salary per title. Is there any other survey that we can use to base somebodies salary? Thank You

How may I obtain the Reubel survey? Where did you purchase? Thanks, Felica

The same is true for us. SecondWind has some very basic salary information but does not provide the range of positions common in a mid-sized agency. Ruebel surveys were more comprehensive. Has anyone found anything else besides the 4A's (which they don't sell to non-members)?

The November/December 2000 issue of Creative Business offers a 5-page article about salary and benefits ("Salary/Benefits Escalation: What's the Effect?"). The article cites recent reports in HOW Magazine (www.howdesign.com), an AIGA/Aquent survey (available to members only), and a job-specific range by market available from www.salarysource.com and www.salariesreview.com (there's a $30 charge for both of these).
Rather than regurgitating information available from the above sources, the Creative Business report offers a base-range adjustment schedule with considerations for location, market, clients, facilities, benefits, and bonus potential. Their original research was compiled during the summer and fall of 2000, so it's current. Firms with more than 50 employees were not included.
You can contact Creative Business at (617) 424-1368 or at www.creativebusiness.com.
Hope this helps!

We just had to do some research for a client and used the salary descriptions and ranges in material sent to us by Aquent Partners (1-877-PARTNER). Their materials describe both print and web positions at various levels of skill, therefore also a range of salaries. In the packet was also teh AIGA survey for 2000 of regional and metropolitan area salaries for various positions. We found it very helpful.

I am not sure if it is the low or the high but our traffic coordinator makes 24,000 a year.
