Summer Interns |

We are considering a summer intern this year. Does anyone have a good feel for what to pay an intern (southeast). This would be primarily an admin gopher. Our business is Promotional Marketing/Design.

We usually pay minimum wage.

We are an 18 person Graphic Design firm in Kansas City. We pay all interns $8.00/hr.

Will this intern be getting school credit for his or her work? Because if that is the case, that is payment enough in itself. We have used the intern system several times and it was very successful. The school we worked with did not encourage us to pay, but we did. We just used the minimum wage scale. I hope this helps.
