                  Closing the year in Clients & Profits is extremely important and should be done sometime after the end of your fiscal year. Since both Clients & Profits X Classic and Clients & Profits X Pro support two simultaneous fiscal years, there's no real urgency about year-end closing. The year can be closed well into the next fiscal year. 
                   
                  In Clients & Profits
                    X Classic, for example, you have a total of 15 accounting
                    periods. This allows you to work in your new fiscal year
                    three months, before needing to close the prior year. And
                    since Clients & Profits X Pro supports
                    24 accounting periods, you can work for almost the entire
                    new year before closing the previous year. 
                             
                    Throughout that time you can enter data into both the new year and last
                    year, then print financial statements for any accounting period.
